Meet TROOPER*

Trooper and her littermates are believed to be a mix of Belgian Malinois and Great Pyrenees... destined to be large and outdoorsy. Bursting with potential, Trooper is looking for a family ready to take on the fascinating challenge of housetraining, leash-training, and basic manners to help her grow into a well-mannered companion and protector. Luckily, the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation now offers a generous voucher for training with a local certified trainer, so you can get started on the right paw together! Come and meet this beautiful, slightly-mischeivous pup, and start your puppy-raising adventure! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
