Meet FRED
#A5705977 Meet Fred , a stunning 2-year-old Plott Hound mix with the most unique black and tan tiger brindle coat - like a shadow speckled with the faintest hint of sunlight peeking through. ️ This handsome boy turns heads with his looks, but it’s his gentle heart that will truly win you over. Shelter life has him feeling cautious and unsure, but once he’s home and feeling safe, Fred’s sweet and loyal personality will shine bright. He seems more comfortable with women, and may need slow, thoughtful introductions to men, likely due to some difficult past experiences. Fred just needs a soft place to land, some patience, and a whole lot of love to help him blossom into his best self. He’s ready to leave the shelter behind and become someone’s devoted best friend for a lifetime - will that be you? -2 year old black and tan brindle Plott Hound mix -80 pound neutered male -up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 6/10/25 as a stray -SUCH a cool looking dog! -super striking and unusual black and tan tiger brindle coat, like a shadow speckled by soft light shining through -cautious and insecure in the noisy shelter environment, but once he's home safe with you, this sweet, handsome boy will warm up quickly and his true personality will shine through -may have had bad experiences with men in the past - seems to prefer women, but could be fine with men if slowly and appropriately introduced -lots of love and loyalty left to share, just needs a soft and safe place to land and decompress so he can truly shine FRED’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/mz_TnmSDafw For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at [email protected] ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.
