Meet *ALEX

Meet Alex! One of our staff and volunteer favorites... but it makes us so sad to see him be overlooked! He kind of blends into the crowd - he's not a show-stoppingly handsome boy but once the tennis balls come out, Alex becomes the star of the show and acts like the energizer bunny. He'll chase a ball until he's exhausted, and not much other than you and the ball matter in his eyes (which is great for training! He's not easily distracted). He loves to carry 2 in his mouth at once (though we're sure he'd grab more if they'd fit). He loves to work for treats and even though he hasn't had a lot of training, he will make an impression with how good his focus is for a snack! We recommend a home without young kids since he tends to be more obsessed with his toys or treats than he is tolerating the shenanigans of others. Because of this, we recommend him as an only pet as well. But don't let that worry you, he's more than happy to ignore things he doesnt like. He keeps his eye on the prize.
