Meet DAISY

Sweet Daisy, our beautiful flower child who rocks everything retro! Daisy is a senior, roughly 11 years old, and came to us as a stray. We don't know anything about Daisy's previous life, but she has shown us she has some tricks under her belt such as `sit` and `paw.` Daisy has done well with dogs her size while in our care. With that in mind, Daisy is not recommended to go to homes with small dogs or other small animals, such as cats. Daisy has enjoyed lounging with staff members, and has demonstrated that she may be housetrained. If you are someone who blooms where they are planted, come frolic on down to the animal shelter and `pick` Daisy as your next companion. Daisy's adoption fee is reduced to $75 as she is a senior pup! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
