Meet Zorro

Zorro is such a sweet boy!! Unfortunately his owner had to surrender him to TLC K9 Rescue because he got very sick and just couldn't take care of him anymore. Zorro is a sweet pure breed 1 ½ yr old Basenji who is super playful, loving, affectionate, and gives lots of kisses too. But as most Basenji's he can be high-spirited, curious, charming and loves to clown around. At times he can also be aloof, independent and self-contained by relaxing with a yummy bully stick. He typically doesn't like being left alone for long periods of time, so if you work at home he'll be right at your feet or laying in his kennel. Zorro adores people, older considerate children and likes to play with other friendly dogs. He is crate, potty and leash trained. He's a smart boy who has learned several commands immediately. He loves his walks, but he must be kept on leash at all times!!! We are looking for an active and experienced family with the breed and if you have another young dog for Zorro to play with then that would definitely be a plus. If you live in the San Diego County have a home with a yard and a 6-foot fence and would like to adopt Zorro please complete our adoption application at tlck9rescue.org
