United Hope for Animals

We support the Baldwin Park Shelter (and have trained volunteers at other LA county shelters) animals through 2x monthly photoshoots with professional photographers. We network the animals we photograph, videotape and assess through online media and local contacts. We also support a free spay/neuter clinic in Tijuana.

Meet Twister

UHA5691734   #A5691734 Say hello to Twister , a 2-year-old, silky-soft land seal (classic pittie!) with a happy wiggly booty and swishy tail that never stops! Though he's been under the weather with a little doggy cold, he's on the mend and his sweet, snuggly personality is shining brighter every day. Twister is an affectionate cuddlebug who lives for love - whether he’s soaking it in or giving it right back. Playful, bouncy, and full of life, he’s guaranteed to keep you smiling and on your toes! He’s potty trained and good on leash, though still young enough to benefit from some basic training. Twister would thrive in an adults-only home, and he’s especially fond of the ladies - he’d be overjoyed to be the cherished prince of an all-female household! Will his furever home be with you?     -2 year old gray pitbull -61 pound neutered male -up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 4/11/25 as a stray -lusciously velvety little land seal, silky soft and perfectly pettable, with a happy wiggly booty and super swishy tail -not feeling his best because of a little doggy cold, but is thankfully on the mend and his true personality has really begun to shine through -super sweet and cuddly lover boy - is his happiest both giving and receiving affection -young, vibrant and enthusiastic - truly a joy to be around!  -bouncy and playful - will keep you on your toes and always bring a smile to your face -potty trained and good on leash, but given his fairly young age, could still benefit from all the beginner basics to be his best self -would do best in an adults only home, and is especially fond of women -would love to be the center of attention in an all-ladies household if possible!   ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed above. Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

Adoption Process
