Meet Jack. This male poodle mix came in with two âfriendsâ. Max got a âspa dayâ when he was neutered as he was very matted and needed a full shave down. With his new âdo â he is ready for her adoptive home. Jack is a bit more reserved of the three dogs. As he spends time with people, he slowly but surely lets his guard down â standing near people, putting his head in their lap and relaxing. Jack would thrive in a dog-savvy home where he can settle in and decompress. A home with another easy going, mellow dog may be a fit after some speed dating. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
