Meet BEAR

Meet Bear! He is a sweet and playful young dog who can take a second to warm up, but once he does you become his newest best friend! He loves running around with other dogs and shows very appropriate playing mannerisms during play groups. He walks well on the leash but is a very heavy sniffer so he loves his sniffaries! He was brought into our care due to a an increase of stress in his new home leading to him developing resource guarding behaviors in the home. Due to this behavior, he is an adult home only dog and we recommend he be a single dog home to help better manage his resource guarding as he will require a lot of one on one focus. He would do best in a home that is familiar with resource guarding and a willingness to put plenty of care and training into making him his best version of himself. He has been awarded a GoodPup Scholarship (a $200 value), which is one-on-one training at no cost to the adopter!
