Meet Garden: Lavender
Adoption Fee: $600 The Garden puppies are a litter of 8 week old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel x Aussie mixes who were born in our rescue to Mamma Marigold (Marigold's picture is the last one in each pup's carousel). Her floral offspring consist of 7 girls and 2 boys (girl party!) and after a few months of being the best mom ever she is now ready for them to bloom in their forever homes. We suspect there may be more than one dad for this litter as the puppies all have their own unique looks, but they are 100% adorable and loving. We expect these puppies to be in the 20-40 pound range when they are fully grown. The puppies wake up around 7 AM and have their first potty of the day before having breakfast. Then it is time for playing and exploring the world around them. They love to sleep on top of each other in a puppy pile. They have lunch around 1 PM and then play outside for a bit with supervision. They are all starting to discover how nice the sun feels! Dinner is around 6 PM and then they play more until they head to bed in their pen. Cedar (M) is one of only two boys in this big litter of puppies and he knows just how special he is! He is always the first to jump into playtime with his siblings and he loves to explore the world around him that gets bigger and bigger by the day! Daffodil (F) loves to cuddle, whether with her siblings or on any available lap. She has also recently discovered the art of sunbathing and loves to sun herself in the afternoon. Daffodil has learned that when she is done with playtime she can go and hide behind her foster parents and away from her siblings, but she is learning how to hold her own as well! Hazel (F) is super lovable and playful but is also happy to go off on her own and explore when she needs a break from her siblings. She is more likely to stay back and watch the action before deciding to get involved. She loves to pick a toy from the toy bin and drag it off so her siblings can’t see and get us to play tug of war with her (and we always let her win, of course). Huckleberry (M) is one of two boys of the litter and he knows how unique he is! He loves to explore and get into everything he possibly can. He is very playful with his siblings but also loves to coerce them into naptime so he can snuggle up next to them. Huckleberry has a love for toys and playing and would do really well in just about any home ready for a whole lot of love. Lavender (F), in the words of Taylor Swift, wants you to stay in her Lavender Haze forever! This gorgeous girl has an absolutely amazing personality and is the perfect mix of wanting to cuddle and wanting to get out and play when the time is right. Don’t let August slip away without bringing sweet Lavender home into your life! Petunia (F) is the best cuddle buddy. She loves to alternate between playing with her siblings and taking a long snooze on whatever lap or pair of legs is available to her. She also knows just how cute she is and has discovered the effect of puppy dog eyes when she wants attention. She also loves to play with the dog in her foster home and is super courageous. Sunflower (F) has a curious and playful spirit to her! She loves to play and show off her fabulous personality. She is the first to jump into the ring and run around with her toys once she wrestles them away from her sisters. Sunflower was a bit shy at first but then she blossomed and showed her big personality. She may be little but she is fierce! Violet (F) is the first to try new things and explore new environments. She loves to get her zoomies out and never fails to greet us at the door to the pen when we come downstairs in the morning. She LOVES to play with her toys and cuddle with her 67 pound foster brother, having no idea he is way bigger than her. Zinnia (F) is a total love bug. She is chill, relaxed, and calm. She loves to hang out while you work and fall asleep with her head on a lap/foot/pair of legs whenever she can. She has been socialized, like her sisters, with humans and dogs and is growing super confident! She is such a sweetie and will make whoever is lucky enough to adopt her very lucky. These puppies are an option for those who have owned a dog in the past 5 years (no roommates/family/dog-sitting). If there are kids in the home, they should be over the age of 5 years old.
