Meet MAX
#A5652680 Max is a lowrider compact German Shepherd and Welsh Corgi mix who will shine in a home where he feels safe and is well cared for. He seems to do better with women and a gentle approach. Confiscated from his owner, Max was malnourished and stressed when he came in. He needs a patient person to help him continue to recover from his former life and enjoy all the good things ahead. - about 4 years and he looks like a mini German Shepherd with black and brown coloring - he’s a great match for a home where a full size shepherd wouldn’t be a good fit - not neutered when we met him so that will need to be done prior to adoption - intimidated in the noisy shelter environment, but he warms up quickly to new people (especially women) - signs of housebreaking - about 30 pounds now, he has gained 8 pounds in the shelter after being emaciated at intake - good on leash - came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on September 16 owner surrendered MAX’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/yejB For more information, contact volunteer Mary at [email protected] ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.
