Meet Gary

Gary, and his brother Gus, are 3 year old, 60 pound happy-go-lucky boys that were surrendered because their owner had to move and could not take them. The boys are almost identical in both look and manner, but would benefit from being adopted into different households to help them build their social skills.  They already know not to jump up on people, are house trained, and they get along great with other dogs.  They need some work with basic obedience and leash walking, but they are eager to learn and will  be fun canine companions.   If you would like to meet Gary, please call Jenn at 530-708-2377 to arrange a time. He is being fostered with Gus in a private  home in the City of Alturas, Modoc County, CA.  His adoption fee is $180 which helps to pay for his shots (Rabies, DAPP and Bordetella), deworming,  microchipping and neuter. 

Adoption Process
When someone releases an animal to HPHS, we require a signed release form. We then have the animal vaccinated and spayed or neutered before offering it for adoption. Adoption fees vary and are listed with each animal.
