Cowboy is a handsome 2 year old American Labrador (as opposed to the shorter/stockier English Labrador). He was bred for speed and crashing through brush, and he does both well! Cowboy gets along well with other dogs but prefers dogs that are not overly "pestery". He walks well on lead until he smells something good, and then he can pull a bit. He is not interested in fetching toys, preferring to sniff around and hand out with his family after a nice long walk/hike/run. Cowboy's adoption fee is $180, which pays for his shots, neuter and micro-chipping. Adoption Process
When someone releases an animal to HPHS, we require a signed release form. We then have the animal vaccinated and spayed or neutered before offering it for adoption. Adoption fees vary and are listed with each animal.
