Meet Logan

Logan – Silver male, 6.5 years, 83 lbs Hi, I’m Logan! And I am ready to be your loving and loyal best friend! My foster mom keeps telling me what a handsome, smart and affectionate dude I am. I LOVE my people and am social and friendly when meeting other folks. I want nothing more than to hang out and go on adventures with you. I absolutely love my walks - spending time outdoors, exploring new sights and smells. I’d also be a great hiking partner, and did you say water? I love to play in the water! I’ve had some training in my lifetime and my foster mom says I’m doing great with my refresher training and learning new commands. I’d really benefit from having my new family continue strengthening and reinforcing that training.  I am a quick learner and have picked up on the rules and routine of my foster home easily. I am totally potty trained and will ring the bells on the door to go outside. I settle down when it is time for bed, and sleep next to my foster parents’ bed on my comfy pillow. I am all about my people and because I love them so much, I’d thrive being the only dog in my home.   My vet said I have some weight to lose but with proper exercise and diet it will be a snap! I am a Lab so I love my food and treats, but I don’t counter surf like my foster sister; this makes my foster mom really happy! Because of my size and energy level, I am best suited for a family with older kids. I, like many silver labs, suffer from seasonal skin allergies and will require medication to continue living my best life. Logan came to Lab Rescue because of a promise made to a beloved friend who was very ill. Logan was very much loved by his owner. When she passed away, her dear friend saw to it that she kept her promise to her and to Logan, which was to find him a loving home. How could we say no. This gorgeous fella would love to have a family to call his own and live the life he deserves. He is so sweet; all you want to do is give him lovin’ all day long. Is Logan the sweet, fun buddy you’ve been looking for? What are you waiting for? Fill out an adoption application and ask for Logan!
