Meet GINNY

Meet Our Diamond in the Rough, Ginny! Our sweet Ginny is a beautiful Queensland Heeler mix with a heart of gold, just waiting for the right person to help her shine! This lovely lady can be a little shy and timid when meeting new people or finding herself in new indoor environments. She takes her time to feel safe and secure, and in those moments, she might seem a little reserved or even try to make herself small. But don't let her initial hesitation fool you! Once Ginny steps outside into a spacious play yard, a wonderful transformation happens. She blossoms into a playful and energetic girl who absolutely loves to run, chase after a ball, and explore her surroundings. It's in these open spaces that her happy and curious nature truly comes out, and she starts to warm up to people, showing glimpses of the loyal and affectionate companion she's longing to be. Ginny is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to adjust and build trust. A calm and quiet home environment, without a lot of constant foot traffic or loud noises, would be ideal for her to feel secure. Someone with experience with shy or timid dogs would be a huge plus! Could you be the patient and loving person who helps our diamond in the rough truly sparkle? She has so much love to give, and she's just waiting for the right person to help her feel safe enough to share it fully. To learn more about Ginny and how to meet her, please come down to the shelter.
