Meet Myrtle, Olive

Puppy Power!!! Myrtle - Yellow female Hazel – Yellow femaleOlive – Yellow female 16 weeks old and ranging from 20-30 lbs. "I think that I shall never see, a poem as lovely as a tree”. When Joyce Kilmer wrote that poem, she may have been envisioning a lovely Spring day laying on a blanket in the shade and by her side, an adorable puppy!!! There is no better time for puppy frolicking as we head into Spring with beautiful long sunny days. Meet our tree collection; Bohdi, Cashew, Cypress, Pippa, Myrtle, Ash and Hazel.   The “tree” puppies had a rough start. They were all crated together in a back yard without much human interaction or discipline. As they continued to grow and people were not buying fast enough, it became clear that they needed a better environment.  That’s when the fearless puppy people with Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno stepped in to make sure these charmers were given the opportunity for the life they deserve. They are in 2 foster homes where they are working on their crate training, potty skills and learning to play and romp as puppies should. As you can see from the photos, they are as cute and handsome as can be! All puppies will be up to date on their age appropriate vaccinations as well as being spayed, neutered and microchipped. Please remember that our goal is to find the best possible forever home for each and every dog so it is not a first come first serve situation. It is also important to add that a puppy can be up to a 15 year commitment and most labs have puppyish qualities for up to and sometimes beyond 2 years. An active family (children 6+) willing to take the time, patients and commitment to work with a pup is important.  Like all young Labs, training and regular exercise are essential to a happy, healthy pup. If you can picture your Spring and Summer brightened by one of these love bugs, please fill out an application at www.labrescuefresno.org   If you are interested in adopting through Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno, you must first fill out an Adoption Application located at our website www.LabRescueFresno.org All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines including rabies; flea/tick topical drops, heartworm tested and microchipped.
