Meet Biscuit

Biscuit – Yellow Female, 4 years old, 65 lbs. Biscuit is a darling purebred Lab who is an active perfect age pup at 4 years old. She's past the puppy wild child stage; but still has lots of zoomies, playful antics, and energy to be a hiking and swimming companion, or lounge on the couch for a lazy movie night getting her belly scratched. She would prefer to be the only dog and soak up all the attention!  This playful girl checks all the boxes!  She is house trained, crate trained, knows how to use a doggy door, chews on appropriate things like dog toys, loves fetch, and has just the right balance of energy and calmness to be the perfect Labrador companion.  She also knows a few verbal commands; and is an eager-to-please girl who wants to be motivated and praised when she follows commands.   She can use a little work on her leash skills, but with just a little consistency and practice she will be practically perfect!  Because Biscuit has so many wonderful qualities, there is just one special request she has for a family... she wants to be the princess!  While she is currently housed with two dog siblings (cocker spaniels) she has some occasional moments of weakness where she becomes a bit naughty and wants all the attention.  Her family thinks she would be ideal for a home with just a single dog where she can be the center of the world and get all the belly rubs and petting she desires.  Her current home has small children, and she does well with people of all ages.  There are no cats in her current home, so we are unable to determine if she could be with kitties, but our suggestion is likely not. Biscuit is waiting to meet a new family that can enjoy taking her out for lots of outings, water play, fetch, hikes, runs, beach or pool time, and is ready to join your family and have the life she deserves.   To inquire, please start an application at http://www.LabRescueFresno.org and a volunteer will be in touch with further information.    If you are interested in adopting through Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno, you must first fill out an Adoption Application located at our website www.LabRescueFresno.org All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines including rabies; flea/tick topical drops, heartworm tested and microchipped.
