Meet Autumn

Autumn - Chocolate female, 2 years, 50 lbs.  Who’s ready for a little Autumn in spring! I’m a sweet little two-year-old girl from the streets. I was very underweight when found and quickly got kennel cough while in custody at the shelter.  Lucky for me, there’s an amazing group of people who love labs like me and I got saved! I went to a temporary home until I was over all that coughing and got spayed. That’s when my foster family stepped in to help me recover and get ready for a forever family.   My foster family will tell you I am still a bit of a puppy.  I REALLY like paper and cardboard and will happily shred it.  I’m working on leash manners and how to wait (that part is really hard especially with food).  My fosters have four dogs (one just my age) and I have learned to take turns with toys and share treats.  I am house trained; crate trained and ADORE a good snuggle and a blanket. I have played with my foster family's nieces and nephew (ages 5-12) and had good manners and lots of pets.   I am learning not to greet people by jumping up and hugging them. I know sit and stay and am working on wait and leave it (so hard when it’s food but I am learning). My foster mom says I should tell you I’m a little lady with a BIG voice when I speak.  Miss Autumn will sleep in her crate overnight but prefers to sleep on a dog bed in her foster sister’s room.  She is currently on flea and tick medication, grain free quality dog food (her foster family have dogs with allergies) and daily supplement for overall health. Autumn has not been tested around cats.  Want to know more about this cutie?  Please submit an Adoption Application at www.LabRescueFresno.org, if you have already submitted an application, follow the instructions in Red from the volunteer who replied.   Thank you for the desire to adopt not shop!   If you are interested in adopting through Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno, you must first fill out an Adoption Application located at our website www.LabRescueFresno.org All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines including rabies; flea/tick topical drops, heartworm tested and microchipped.
