Meet CHOWDER*

Meet Chowder! This dog came to the Shelter as a stray underweight and not so sure of the world around him. With time and patience, Chowder has warmed up to staff and volunteers. Chowder has an affinity towards other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident, well socialized dog. Chowder has met various large breed dogs at the Shelter and has enjoyed playing with them. A home with a playful, well socialized dog may help Chowder to learn that the world around him is not so scary. Any resident dogs should meet at the Shelter prior to adoption. We do not have any history of Chowder with cats, small animals or kids. Chowder’s adopters are recommended to be patient with him in the transition while he learns life skills and manners and acclimates to the home.Through April 30th – all dogs over 40 lbs have a ½ off adoption fee! Big dogs have lots of love to share so consider adding one to your family today!
