Meet Tugboat! Tugboat is a friendly and charming Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who is ready to find his forever home. At 3 years old, Tugboat has a mature and mellow demeanor, making him a good companion for anyone looking for a calm and loving dog. we got an update from his foster family, and they shared that " Tugboat has been adjusting well! He was clearly trained before, and has been picking up our hand signals quickly. If he could, he would follow you everywhere, and he likes to find a spot to lie down nearby and spend the day with you. He isn’t cuddly in the sense that he will crawl in your lap, but he loves hugs and pats and lying down with you on the couch or bed (though he will go to his bed when asked). He is such a softy! He’s extremely gentle with taking treats, doesn’t rip up his toys, ignores other dog on walks, doesn’t jump, and I’ve only heard him bark once. When he’s really happy he ‘smiles’ or taps his front feet on the ground. He’ll be active when it’s time to go out, and otherwise chills with his people." Tugboat is deaf, but that doesn't stop him from being a wonderful and capable companion. He is house-trained when given regular access to go outside, ensuring a smooth transition into his new home. He also knows how to sit, lay down, and take treats gently. This sweet boy has a beautiful coat with unique patterns and striking eyes that make him stand out. Tugboat loves to go on leisurely walks, explore new places, and relax by your side. He's affectionate, enjoys being around people, and would thrive in a quiet and patient home where he can receive the attention and care he deserves. He's ready to bring love and joy into your life and will reward you with endless companionship! Click here to learn how to adopt him.
