K9 Paw Print Rescue

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned, abused, stray and neglected animals, primarily from high-kill shelters. We collaborate with other rescue groups and animal shelters to improve the lives of animals at risk for euthanisia. We work to provide solutions which seek to end the animal over-population and educate people to be responsible pet owners and "fur-ever guardians."

NAME:FAYESTATS:Female, King Charles Spaniel/Chi mix, 1 year, 6.5 lbs.TEMPERAMENT:Shy at first and warms up.Playful, but not overly so.Timid and a bit unsure at first with new people/ situations SKILLSDoing great with potty training.Doing great with crate training.Good with dogs.Good with cats.Has not been exposed to children. She seems like she'd be fine with gentle older kids 10+.MORE ABOUT ME:Likes belly rubs.Couch cuddler.Likes playing with other dogs.Submissive.Needs patient owner willing to work on behavior (see details below).Suggest training (basic manners).Fearful of people she doesn't knowONE LAST THING:Faye is a lovely gentle pup who wants to be with her person as much as possible. She is a snuggly lap dog who given a few days, to get used to a new place, and people, will begin to come out of her shell she is joyful, bright and highly interactive with my pets and family members. Loves other little friendly dogs. While she is afraid of new people at first, she does adapt after a bit so with some treats and the chance to get familiar with individuals she would be fine with most people. She is new to the outside world as she came from a hoarding situation so she needs gentle positive slowly experiences to socialize her with new experiences once she trusts her people.
