HAPPY is a male Cocker Spaniel Freedom Flyer from South Korea.  He is part of a special group of 4 Cocker Spaniels that are flying into SEATTLE from South Korea on  May 3, 2024.  All four were rescued by our international rescue partners from South Korea, known as the COCKER MOMS, providing our Pacific Northwest followers a more convenient opportunity to adopt a Camp Cocker dog! Here’s what the Cocker Moms have shared about Happy: - Happy was rescued from the Pyeong Teak shelter, which is in the same city as the American Army base. He was very skinny and had diarrhea, but all of his tests were negative. After his rescue, he was neutered and had his teeth cleaned. - From what we know so far, Happy is very energetic and fun. He’s very puppy-like & playful and gets along well with other dogs. He doesn’t bark a lot, and he knows “sit” and “paw” already. - It appears that he does not like to have his rear end touched or wiped. His mouth will come back to the handler’s hand, but no biting. A firm “No” and he’s back to acting like a puppy again! - Happy is estimated* to be 1-2 years old, and he weighs 6kg (13lbs). *Please note that any age provided is only an estimate, based on veterinary examination. HAPPY IS BEING FOSTERED IN SEATTLE ADOPTERS WILL NEED TO TRAVEL TO SEATTLE TO PICK HIM UP Stay tuned for updates about Happy as we learn more about him.
