Domino Effect Animal Rescue

Domino Effect Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non profit, no kill animal rescue located in Temecula Valley, California. We give animals a second chance at finding a forever home. We educate people on the plight of animals in public shelters to encourage adoption as the primary choice when finding a new pet. We also rescue animals directly from public animal shelters and take in owner relinquished pets. We provide care for all animals in our possession until loving families are found to adopt them. For every animal we rescue, we free up space in city shelters which creates a domino effect that allows other animals in city shelters increased time to get adopted, ultimately saving more lives!

Meet Missy

Missy was adopted from us four years ago. She was a loved member of a family, but her mom got very ill and was unable to care for her any longer. So, she is back with us and in the market for a new home! Missy is approx 9 years old now. She has long, lanky legs but only weighs 10lbs. When she initially came to us, she had no socialization and was very nervous. She will likely always be shy with new people (especially men), but she does bond with her family once she is comfortable. She is also never aggressive. Even when she is the most scared, she has never even growled or snarled at anyone. She is a sensitive soul and just needs someone to give her some time to adjust. Missy was always really quiet and mellow with us. She enjoys perching on the back of the couch and relaxing most of the day. She is happy to just hang out at home and is a really easy girl! Missy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She js also housebroken and crate trained. She isn't super excited about toys or food but she loves her blankets! She gets along with dogs and cats well but, due to her being so shy, we think a home with no children would be best. If you're interested in meeting this sweet senior, please submit an adoption application on our website at www.dominoeffectanimalrescue.org
