Meet Callie

At the SBACC, Callie means LOVE. There isn’t a volunteer she doesn’t love and a volunteer who doesn’t love her. Callie loves a comfy lap for cuddling and will happily share your bed, loves endless pets, loves to be brushed, loves to wear stylish jackets when it’s cold, loves her treats, and loves her daily walks. She has the cutest waddle and sway. Callie also loves having fun with her doggie roommates so another dog in the house would be a plus. Oh, and if we didn’t mention it, Callie means love and boy does she love life and the people in it.. When she first makes your acquaintance, Callie can be shy and timid. It might take a little time for her to warm up to you, but when she does, she’s your velcro shadow. Every time she sees you coming, she lights up wiggling all over and jumping with joy. Callie’s soulful brown eyes will longingly gaze into yours with such affection, your heart will melt, and if you’re lucky, she will shower you with kisses. She is a sweetheart who will bring endless happiness to your life. Come meet this amazing dog and experience her doggie qualities for yourself. You can’t go wrong with love and Callie has plenty to give. Wags and Kisses

Adoption Process
We have an application process and an adoption contract. Fees for dogs are $120, puppies $150, cats over 6 months and under 5 years $75, cats over 5 years $50, kittens $115. We require that adopted dogs be kept indoors at night and when people are home, and all members of the family, including other dogs must meet the dog. For cats, we require that they be indoor only and that the adopter not declaw them.
