Corndog

Humane Society of Imperial Valley

The Humane Society of Imperial County takes in dogs, cats, rabbits, and an occasional pig. The HSOIC never euthanizes for space. We work with rescues to move animals out of the Humane Society and into foster homes where they can be adopted. We also work with Wings of Rescue to fly animals to rescues and shelters in other states where the demand for animal adoptions is greater. We hold adoption events in San Diego as well as El Centro to move animals out as well.

Adoption Process
Adoption fees vary based on the animal. There is a contract completed by every adopter. Each animal that is adopted is spayed or neutered at the time of adoption, microchipped, current on vaccinations and dewormed.
