Meet Ludo, the big gentle giant. He has lived in a home with children under 12, teens, men and women in his previous home. Ludo is a big goofy livestock guardian through and through â letting out a bark to let someone know that someone arrived at the property and otherwise, fairly relaxed. His favorite activity is playing in open spaces. He has a female Pyrenees friend and has sniffed to say âhiâ to a few friends since his arrival at the Shelter. He has been around chickens, sheep and cats in his previous home. He does well riding in the car. The best part about this big lug â he can howl âI love youâ. Be prepared to fall in love with Ludo!Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
