Meet Nimbus, the adolescent Pyrenees mix. Nimbus is soft, sweet and still gaining confidence with new people and environments. He has been around a chihuahua in a previous home and has been nervous with dogs since his arrival at the Shelter. Nimbus would thrive in an adoptive home with dog-savvy guardians who will prioritize decompression and confidence building. Life skills and manners such as leash walking and potty training will be great opportunities for Nimbus to bond with his next guardians through positive reinforcement. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
