Animal Rescuers Without Borders

We are a group of volunteers who have been in the rescue field since 2005 and volunteered as staff volunteers with other non-profit animal rescue groups. Now, we have our own group. We love and care about the present and future of the lives of the many homeless dogs and cats and strive to improve their lives for them to know stability, love and safety. We focus most of our resources to help our sister animal rescue group in the City of Tijuana, Mexico as we are achiving to work with the Mexican Goverment to implement educational programs of pet care and sterilization in schools and large working fabrics to be able to have a large mexican population know there is help out there and the importance of sterilizing and treating animals humanely. We also help other rescue groups from San Diego and LA as well as rescue animals that are being relinquished by owners or other unfortunate events.

Meet Misty

Meet the most adorable puppers! These adorable siblings (2 males and 2 females) have been named after famous equines: Beauty, Misty, Mr. Ed and Flicka! They were originally rescued off the streets of Tijuana on 3/1/24 when a good sam heard some light whining and looked around to find a purse with 4 pups nothing else inside. The poor babies were tossed like trash. No other people around and no mama dog. Obviously someone had an intact dog who had pups and instead of sterilizing the dog they discard the pups as trash to not be burned. Tragic and too common. We were contacted for help and thankfully a great foster parent who had never bottle fed pups before but had so much experience foster pup and a human mama herself jumped into action after being guided by another foster with bottle feeding experience. Fast forward 8 weeks, the pups have done AMAZING. Healthy, thriving and READY for adoption. The pups are crate and potty pad trained, WOW! Can you ask for anything more? Such young babes and so smart learning so well. These pups were raised with a loving family where they have been socialized with both adults and children so they are very socialized with people and dogs, As young pups they are of course ideal to be introduced to feline friends and have a great time. We do NOT know their breed. Being from south of the border anything goes. They are likely a large breed like a shepherd type with a small breed like a poodle/schnauzer mix, 3 pups have the same short wire-Haired (mostly) and one pup has short smooth coat. As of 4/25 they are 7 pounds and 2 months which means they likely will be in the 35-45 pound range when full grown a perfect medium size dog. These pups are scheduled to be sterilized Monday 5/6/24 in the north park area 92104 and are available to meet adopters doing their debut at events on 4/27/24. They are available for adoption however adopters must be available to bring back the pup they adopt to drop off/pick up at the vet clinic on their prescheduled sterilization. For this reason, we can only adopt to san diego locals and no out of city adopters.
