Meet Brownie

She was born around December 2023 and currently weighs about 13 pounds. We never saw her parents so we don't know exactly how big she will get. She is a very sweet, outgoing, energetic and curious girl. She is very friendly toward everyone she meets including kids, and she loves other dogs, big and small.  When she's not playing or exploring, she loves to follow her humans around and take a nap in their lap. She is SO smart and is learning potty training fast! If she's taken outside often enough or has access to the backyard, she will go potty outside. She figured out how to use the doggie door on her own the first day in their foster home by watching the resident dog, and learned to sit for treats in just a few minutes. She is full of puppy energy and will thrive in a loving home that can give her the love, exercise, training, attention and patience that all puppies require.     Brownie is being fostered in Santa Clara.  Adoption fee is $200.   ADOPTION INQUIRIES SUBMITTED WITHOUT A COMPLETED APPLICATION FROM THE LINK ABOVE MAY NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Tailchaser Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs from shelters where they are in danger. Our foster volunteers provide loving temporary homes for our rescued animals until they are adopted. By adopting a cat or dog, you're making a commitment to provide love, care, and medical treatment for the life of the animal, which can be up to 20 years or more! We are committed to placing our rescued animals with families who are prepared for the responsibility of owning an animal for its entire lifetime, so that they are never again at the mercy of the shelter system.
