Second Leash on Life

We rescue dogs from high kill shelters, the streets of Los Angeles and Mexico and the Humane Society. We specialise in the shy fearful dogs who are deemed un-adoptable. We do a lot of senior medical and also train service dogs for those in need.

Meet Finn Pom

Finn is a nine year old, 12 pound Pomeranian who was found hiding under a car in a very bad part of Los Angeles.  No owner came forward despite multiple attempts to locate. We believe he was dumped.   He is so adorable and so sweet. Incredibly friendly and likes to go for car rides and walks. He is very quiet and polite and good with other dogs and cats.  He does have mature cataracts but gets around as if he can see perfectly. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and on flea treatment.  His adoption fee is $250.  If you would like to meet him please fill out an application at www.secondleashonlife.org

Adoption Process
I have an adoption application and if it looks good, I meet with the applicant and make sure they are the right fit for the dog.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
