Meet Coffee Bean

Coffee is a big, squishy baby and we love him! Coffee is estimated to be around 3-4 months old and has a heart just as big as his paws. He loves to be with his people and is eager to make friends with anyone who will give him pets. This Coffee is decaffeinated, and he is the epitome of a big, mellow guy. Coffee is a growing boy who currently weighs about 20lbs, and we think he will be at least 80lbs when fully grown. Coffee was transferred to us from our partner rescue, BONES Pet Rescue, in Covelo. He and his two siblings were found outside a grocery store, and were happy to make friends with store customers. The one female from the litter was taken in by another local rescue, and Coffee and his brother, Sugar, came to us. These boys are looking for individual homes with families with large dog experience. Coffee is a lovable guy who is happiest when he can be with his people. He loves to cuddle, but also will never turn down a chance to have some fun. He is pretty mellow for a puppy his age, so he would be a great addition to a family that wants a more moderate-energy pup. He is a very food-motivated boy, which helps with training. He needs a family committed to helping him continue his training to help him grow up to be the best boy he can be. Coffee loves playing with other dogs, but would probably do best as an only dog, as he isn't a big fan of sharing his food or human cuddles with other dogs. Coffee thinks cats are a little too fun to chase and would do best in a kitty-free home. Coffee could be a wonderful addition to a home with kids 10 years old and older. Coffee is still working on his housetraining and needs a family who can be patient with him while he is learning and be consistent about taking him outside for potty breaks. Coffee has been doing well sleeping in his crate at night, but is still learning how to be comfortable home alone and needs a family who can slowly acclimate him to being okay being alone. Coffee is such a wonderful little bear cub, and he can't wait to become your new best friend. Submit an application if he sounds like the boy for you!   Coffee's adoption fee is $350.   Apply to adopt here!  https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/   Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org)  It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application. The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption. For more information about an animal, please email [email protected]. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org.

Adoption Process
We have an application that needs to be completed. We need to interview all members of the household that are considering adopting the pet. We also need to verify if renting that any rental deposits have been satisfied.
