Meet Scrappy

Courtesy Post – Rehoming Needed This dog is not at the shelter. Meet Scrappy – a sweet and energetic 10-month-old male Lab/Pit mix (tan). ✔️ Spayed/Neutered: Yes ✔️ Vaccines: Current ✔️ Potty trained: Yes ✔️ Crate trained: Yes Scrappy was adopted from Yolo County Animal Rescue about 6 months ago. Unfortunately, due to housing restrictions and some behavioral challenges, his family can no longer keep him. Scrappy is a young, playful pup who is friendly with children, other dogs, and even cats. He has been primarily an indoor dog, enjoys being part of family life, and is already potty and crate trained. Around visitors, he can be friendly and social, though sometimes he may just do his own thing and not engage much. As a young mix of active breeds, Scrappy will thrive in a home where he has structure, training, and regular exercise to help him grow into his best self. He is still very much a puppy and will need continued guidance. If you are interested in adopting Scrappy, please contact his owner, Kait, directly: Phone: (707) 628-1853 Email: [email protected]

Adoption Process
Adopters fill out a 2-page questionnaire, interview with a staff person, and pay the adoption fee. We are in the process of transitioning to "open adoptions" with few formalized requirements. The full adoption fees are approximately $160 for dogs and $110 for cats, but we have regular 'specials'.
