Meet PUA, our resident real life Moana character. Much like the pig from Moana, our Pua would make a very loyal companion, has a courageous heart full of love, and a playful spirit. This sweet girl has met a few dogs here and likes to play, but should meet any resident dogs living in her future home. She can be a little shy at first, but after a few minutes likes to show off her zoomies and cuddles , as she quite literally likes to give her person hugs. She will also never turn down a good belly scratch. Pua is still a younger dog, so a home with an active lifestyle would be a good fit for her. Interested in your own Disney best friend? Make your own dream come true and come down to meet her!This dogâs adoption fee is reduced to $70 from May 1st to May 15th as part of âEmpty the Sheltersâ, an adoption event hosted by the Bissell Pet Foundation to help pets across the nation find the loving adoptive homes they deserve.Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
