Meet Daisy Mae, the adorable fluffy Anatolian mix! She has been easy to leash and enjoys being pet by staff and volunteers. She has been bouncy and playful at times but then calms down and is cuddly with people. Daisy Mae has history of living with similarly sized dogs and may enjoy a canine companion. A home without felines or small sized animals (including ducks and chickens) is required due to prey drive observed in the previous home. This dogâs adoption fee is reduced to $70 from May 1st to May 15th as part of âEmpty the Sheltersâ, an adoption event hosted by the Bissell Pet Foundation to help pets across the nation find the loving adoptive homes they deserve.Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
