07/24/2025 15:41 CABento is a 1-year-old Pitbull mix with a heart full of joy and energy. He's well behaved in the kennel and enjoys having as many toys as possible. During overnights out of the shelter, it is clear he has the time of his life! Bento has been able to make some dog friends while at the shelter, but need a proper introduction. He especially likes dogs that can match his playful energy. He enjoys going for hikes, but prefers shorter ones. He loves exploring, sniffing around and appreciating the view. He doesn't pull at all and it is a pleasure to take him out.This charming boy is respectful when it comes to feeding time and likes to work for his meals. He has the best time playing with the Wobble where the food is. Wobbles are great feeders for dogs like Bento, who are high energy and eager to use their brains. He is still learning how to share his toys, something his future family can help with if there's another furry friend in the house. The good news is that he already knows the `leave it` command, which is a huge help. He also knows `sit`, `come` and `spin` (so cute!). Bento is a true joy to be around, always wearing a huge smile and radiating happiness. He has no trouble settling down for bedtime and willingly go into his kennel, where he enjoys a tasty Kong filled with peanut butter as a special snack.
