Greater California German Shepherd Rescue

Greater California German Shepherd Rescue is a 501(c)(3) public charity non-profit. We are an all-volunteer group of German Shepherd lovers dedicated to rescuing German Shepherd Dogs from at-risk and unacceptable situations and finding them permanent, loving homes with qualified owners. We serve the communities surrounding Modesto, Merced, Greater Sacramento, and South Lake Tahoe, and occasionally parts of the North and East SF Bay area. Except for a portion of Nevada around Lake Tahoe, we don't adopt dogs out of state and rarely adopt out of our area. There are too many other German Shepherds in need of good homes in the other areas.

Meet Genevieve

Adoption Fee:  $300.00 Genevieve is a 7 month old black and tan female who come from a local shelter so there is not much known about her past. She loves to play with the other foster and resident dog whenever she can. She’s not good around cats or small dogs, however, she corrects easily and is very treat driven when offered.    Genevieve is a playful girl who loves any toy that she can find. She has good house manners for the most part. She also knows a few commands and walks well on a leash. She loves to cuddle when given the opportunity. Her favorite thing is to have her snout rubbed gently to the point she starts to fall asleep.  She is a wonderful, loving girl looking for the right home.  No cats and small critters unknown.
