4/1/24 STILL AVAILABLE!  Please share Marv! Golden doodle/Shepherd mix, not high energy like some Poodle/Shepherds. His foster mom wants to take in another dog in need, so we really want Marv to find a home soon! 2/22/24 Another doodle, but this guy hasn’t been popular because he isn’t the stereotypical, golden colored, curly, teddy bear looking doodle. Please consider Marv! Marv is a 6-7 mo old German Shepherd/Poodle/Golden Retriever mix who was owner surrendered to our rescue. He is a very sweet natured guy and is going to make a great companion to whoever adopts him! Marv is a quiet, sweet boy who is shy and nervous at first but is quick to warm up when allowed to do so at his own pace. Once he warms up to you, he will seek you out just to be near you and if you are busy he will just lay down near you to be able to see you. He really is the sweetest boy. He will play with other dogs but also loves to just lounge around. He is doing great with the leash now. We believe he will do fine with cats. The cat in his foster home will sneak by Marv and he will just sit and watch the cat. He loves to sleep right next to his humans but would be just as happy with a dog bed in the same room if his adopter doesn’t allow dogs in the bed. He is making great progress with house training. He is neutered and utd on vaccs, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention. He weighs about 40 pounds and probably won't get too much bigger.
