Meet Maggie

Courtesy post- Maggie is a 2 year old female Redbone Coonhound looking for a new home. She was more or less abandoned by her owner with a caring person, however she can’t keep Maggie. The person caring for her says- Maggie is very smart and loving. Has gotten along great with all dogs we have met and played with at the dog park. She did grow up with a cat but does not get along great with my 2 cats. She doesn’t hurt them but always on the chase. Maggie does need some training, will constantly jump on me and all people. Very vocal. She had been with her brother since being born until just last week. (Her brother has a home). We have interacted with small children at the dog park and she was very gentle, no jumping or pushing. That is as much as I have seen her with children. Adults she jumps up to lick faces. I have had her the last 3+ months. Every adult at dog park she jumps on. She has not had any accidents in the house until just recently when her brother first left. Otherwise she is very good. I’m gone to work every day, she makes no messes. She walks good on a leash, slight pulling but she walks a lot faster than I do. I do not trust off leash. Knows sit. She is being spayed soon and brought up to date on vaccines. In New England.
