Meet Gravy

9/15/25 Still available! 8/5/25 Gravy is a 10month old, 60lbs Shepherd mix. He was found as a stray and taken in by a good samaritan who loves him but can't keep him. Gravy loves other dogs and has enjoyed time at a doggy daycare, playing with and making friends with all the other dogs, big and small. He is very affectionate and friendly in nature. He also loves to swim and play in water! He is a high energy dog.  He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.  Gravy is one of our lucky pups who gets to attend the Arkansas Paws in Prison program! Paws in prison is an amazing program where dogs are paired with inmates whom they are with 24/7 for 8 weeks. The inmates work with the dogs everyday on basic training, basic obedience, house training, leash training, etc. and even some tricks! They meet weekly with a certified dog trainer. This is a wonderful program and so beneficial for the dogs and the inmates! When they graduate, they have all the skills needed to pass the Canine Good Citizen test. Gravy will graduate from Paws in Prison on 9/29/25. We hope to have a home ready and waiting for him when he graduates.  Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
