We are a few dedicated individuals who have formed Adopt-A-Stray in order to save many adoptable pets that would otherwise be euthanized in the shelters in our area. We routinely pull dogs and cats from the euthanasia list, as well as take in strays and owner surrenders as space allows.

Meet Colby

Colby is a happy, friendly boy looking for his forever home! This boy has been waiting way too long and I don’t know why! Colby is playful and friendly with everyone. He gets along well with other dogs and is very outgoing and happy. He would make an excellent running or hiking partner. We believe Colby is about 1-2 years old and is probably a mix of many different breeds with no dominant breed identifiable. He weighs about 40-50 lbs. he was previously fostered with an XL Great Dane who made Colby uncomfortable so he wouldn’t do well with XL dogs but is fine with other dogs more his size or smaller! Colby did have heartworms on intake but has been treated and is doing great! He is ready to find his own home and family to love! Adoption Process
