COURTESY POST Maizey

Tucson Cold Wet Noses

Cold Wet Noses is a small group of individuals who take in the dogs that are going to be euthanized on any given day. We do this, when we can (when we have room for them), from local shelters.(we apologize we can only take in animals from the county shelter off of there rescue list) We bear all of the cost for spaying or neutering, micro-chipping, health care and shots . We're just a bunch of dog lovers who are trying to help as many furry souls as we can. The animals live with us so we know their personally and what would be the best fit for them. All of our Dogs and Cats our part of our family and we want that for them at your home. WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT DOGS TO HOMES THAT WANT TO KEEP THEM OUTSIDE ALL THE TIME THEY ARE NOT YARD DOGS. We love each and every foster and we want you to do so so as well. If they arent a good match in your home we insist that they come back to us until their perfect match is found. We truly believe that there is a perfect pet for a perfect home! Thank you for adopting a shelter dog from Tucson Cold Wet Noses.

Meet COURTESY POST Maizey

*** COURTESY POSTING ONLY - NOT A TCWN DOG - CONTACT INFO BELOW *** Maizey is a sweet old gal in her teenage years looking for a new home to spend the rest of her days! Maizey recently had her whole world turned upside down when her owner needed to move in assisted living due to Alzheimer’s.    Maizey is settling into a family member’s house for the time being and is getting along well with all the humans (including an 8 year old) and the resident dog. She can be timid/shy but is working on warming up as she learns her new surroundings. Because Maizey’s previous owner didn’t always remember to let her outside, she is working on remembering potty and house rules, but is doing well with frequent outside trips. She is also enjoying a short walk in the mornings!   Maizey had a recent trip to her vet and her lab work looked great. She does take a daily medication for protein in her urine. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations.   If you’re interested in learning more about Maizey or meeting her in person, please contact Megan at 520-954-5624.
