Our mission is to rescue medium to large breed dogs and puppies from high kill shelters and unsafe conditions. We give each animal proper vet care, vaccinations, rehabilitation, microchip and basic training to secure their future in a furever home.

Meet Mendy-Melody

Mendy is about 15 months old and 40ish pounds. She is a super sweet girl who loves to hike and go for walks. Playing with her dog friends at her foster home is enjoyable for her and she gets along well with cats. Mendy is a very shy dog and will need multiple visits to feel comfortable with a new person. If you have the patience and compassion to adopt a shy girl, please fill out an application. www.sunshinedogrescue.org/application. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, potty trained and crate trained. $275 All of our adoptions come with one in-home sessions with our behaviorist.

Adoption Process
Adoption application, meet and greet, home visi, and adoption contract. Fees range from $100-$400.
