Meet Harbor

Harbor was brought to the shelter as a stray. We do not have any background information on, so it is unknown if he has lived with other animals or children. Harbors finders stated that he is a very sweet boy, and we couldn't agree more! He has proven to be a polite gentleman. Harbor does well with handling and really enjoys butt scratches! Unlike most malamutes, Harbor is actually pretty quiet and does not seem to spend most of his free time howling! Harbor has not been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter and typically ignores them. He may do well with a friend but we encourage a dog meet and greet prior to adopting! Harbor enjoys spending time outside and is ready to go on loads of adventures with his new family. He is not super into toys but enjoys big rubber balls and going on walks. Harbor is very well-behaved and appears to have had some basic obedience training. He appears to be potty trained, walks great on a leash and knows the cues “sit” and “down”. Harbor is such a fun dog; we were very surprised that no one came looking for him. If you are a malamute lover, Harbor may be the perfect dog for you!
