Meet BO BOY

Our sweet Bo Boy has opened up so much during his time in the shelter! He still may be a little shy when first meeting, but has been doing great. Bo loves spending time with volunteers and employees. He would love an owner who has enough time to spend with him - he is happiest when with his people! Bo could still benefit from additional socializing and introductions to children and furry friends should be taken slowly. We encourage adopters to bring their children with them when they come to meet him! Bo has a gentle personality, but has recently started jumping up to seek attention when he is really excited. Bo Boy enjoys spending time outside and is always happy to go for a walk. He hasn’t shown much interest in playing with toys, but does enjoy bringing them outside when he is lounging in the sun! Bo has recently learned how to use his doggy door, which makes him very happy considering he is potty trained! Bo walks well on a leash but when he is very excited to go on a walk he will pull. Bo also knows the cue “sit” and has almost mastered “lay down”. It is unknown if Bo has lived with other animals. He has not been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter and may do well with a chill friend. We can always accommodate a dog meet and greet if needed! Please keep in mind that Bo Boy will need time to adapt to his new home. If your home sounds like it would be a good fit for Bo we would love for you to come by and meet him!
