Meet BUDDY

Buddy was surrendered because his previous owners had too many dogs. Unfortunately we were not given much information on his background, all we were given is that he did well with the other dogs in the home. Buddy has a shy personality and appreciates getting to know people and other animals before becoming friends. Proper introductions help Buddy feel much more comfortable and he does tend to warm up quickly! Buddy is very cuddly and sweet. He loves gentle snuggles and pets. His favorite type of pets are when they are given on the top of his head and he usually melts in our arms when receiving them! Buddy has been nice towards the other dogs in the shelter, but doesn't seem too interested in interacting with them. We can provide a dog meet and greet if needed, but feel that Buddy will be happiest in a laid back, mellow home. Though we adore Buddy's sweet personality we do not believe that he will be super compatible with small children - he can be territorial of his kennel space and is not the type of dog that can be rushed. Buddy is potty trained, walks well on a leash and knows the cues `sit' and `down`. Buddy has a pretty chill personality and has enjoyed lounging in the sun, taking nice walks and of course snuggling. We adore Buddy. If your home sounds like it would be a good for Buddy we encourage you to come by and meet him!
