Kazi (A134259) is a 1-year-and-2-month-old AK Husky who weighed 36.9 pounds on intake! 04/21/25 Kazi is back at the shelter and looking for his new home! He was brought back to the shelter due to no fault of his own. In his past home, he was stated to be kennel trained, housebroken, and to know a few basic commands. It was noted that Kazi does not love riding in cars and may do best being kenneled when riding in a vehicle. Kazi was said to do great with dogs and cats and may enjoy having another canine companion in his next home! Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with any and all new potential friends. As far as people go, Kazi was said to be a friendly guy who does well with all. If you are interested in meeting Kazi, please let us know! 09/30/24 Kazi, previously known as Oz, is back at the shelter eagerly awaiting his new home. He is a shy guy but once you get to know him very loving! Kazi was said to do well with children, strangers, and adults and was described as playful and gentle! He was said to be kennel trained but is not fully housebroken. With a little work and patience, he would love to learn. We encourage his next owner to reach out to a certified trainer to continue building his confidence and to learn a trick or two! Kazi is a young dog and has an abundance of potential! He was known to be a chewer and digger which is common with his breed and age. Providing him with outlets for his energy and appropriate chew toys is important! If you are interested in meeting Kazi and possibly making him part of your family, please let us know! 04/22/24 These cute little puppies were found abandoned in a box. A good Samaritan brought them to the shelter in hopes that they could find their new loving families. In typical puppy fashion, they will need help with potty training, kennel training, basic commands, continued positive socialization, and so much more! They are babies, after all! Puppies are a lot of work but 100% worth the effort! If you are interested in meeting any of these adorable little pups, please let us know!
