Halo (A137424) is a 4-year-6-month old husky who weighed nearly 30 lbs at intake!04/12/25 This little spitfire is back yet again for not doing well with another animal in the home. Halo is looking for a home that will want to lavish her with all of their attention and not ask her to share it with anyone else. Halo has been on her best behavior in each of her previous homes. However, this most recent home had cats that did not appreciate Halo. Halo retaliated when one of the cats went after her, so now she is back again looking for her person. Please please please read the rest of Halo's write-up prior to inquiring about adoption. This sweet little dog is an absolute bundle of joy and happy to greet every single person that even breathes in her direction. If you think you could be Halo's forever home and be content with her as your sole adventure buddy, please give us a call!03/29/25 Miss Halo is back at the shelter after her most recent owners adopted a puppy yesterday. Halo does not share attention well, as you can discover by continuing to read her previous write-up. If you are looking for a single companion that wants to be the apple of your eye because you are hers, give us a call about Miss Halo!02/05/25 This pint-sized little pipsqueak is Halo! Halo arrived at the shelter because she was too energetic and demanding of attention with the new baby in the home. In the words of her prior owner, `Halo has made up her mind that she's human, a princess, and entitled to all the attention you can give and any furniture surface you occupy. This dog needs a family that wants to make her their baby and won't leave her lonely, who wants to give back the amount of attention she gives, and is willing to give her all the patience and grace.` Halo is hoping her next home does not have any other animals or children under the age of 5 because she is a shining star and not willing to let anyone take her spotlight! She was said to be gentle when playing and to be an outgoing, friendly and affectionate little girl. Halo was said to be kennel trained and will whine to go potty. In general, she was said to not mind very well and will jump fences and get into the trash if given the chance. This little dog exudes energy and positivity and was described as a wiggle worm with a short attention span. She was said to love car rides, walks, hiking, playing and snuggling. Her previous owner said you will never feel bored or unloved with Halo in your life. If you are interested in meeting this sweet little bundle of happy, please give the shelter a call!
