Onyx (A138276) is a 7-month-old Pitbull mix who weighed 48.9 pounds on intake!05/06/25 This happy boy is Onyx! Onyx was surrendered to the shelter with his brother Jasper and they are both eagerly awaiting to find their new homes! They were described as beautiful and loving dogs who both have outgoing and friendly personalities! Onyx and Jasper were stated to be housebroken, ride well in vehicles, and know basic commands like sit and laydown! In typical young dog fashion, they would both benefit from attending basic obedience classes to continue working on their manners! Both these boys were stated to do great with people of all ages and to get along well with other dogs! They have no history with smaller critters like cats or pocket pets so please ensure you are making appropriate introductions. They are young dogs with plenty of energy so they are looking for a home that can keep them both mentally and physically stimulated. They were stated to enjoy chewing so providing them with appropriate chew toys will help keep them healthy and happy! Onyx has proven his love of chewing while at the shelter, so it will be exceptionalyl important to make sure he has access to appropriate chew toys in order to prevent him from chewing or eating other harmful things.
