Perraboo (A136377) is a 9-month-old Lab mix who weighed 43.2pounds on intake! 05/29/25 Perraboo is back at the shelter because she wasnât the right fit for her adoptive family. Perraboo is a bit of a wild child so she is really looking for that special person to take her home. Perraboo was said to be kennel trained, rides well in a car, and knows her basic commands! She was said to have no accidents in the home if she had access to go into a fenced-in yard, but would not go potty outside when walked on a leash. She is looking for a patient owner who can continue to work with her. Perraboo was described as an outgoing, friendly, and affectionate dog who will play with anyone or anything! She does have a rough style of play so please keep that in mind when introducing her to other dogs or if you have younger kiddos in the home. Perraboo was said to avoid cats in her last home. Slow, safe, and controlled introductions are always the way to go! Perraboo is a young, very active dog looking for a home that can be patient with her and continue her training. If you are interested in meeting her, please let us know! 05/08/25 Perraboo aka Boo is back at the shelter and looking for her new home! She was left in the overnight drop off cages so we unfortunately do not have any behavioral information on how she was in her last home. Perraboo is a high energy dog and is looking for an owner who can keep her both mentally and physically stimulated. She would also benefit from attending a basic obedience class to continue working on her manners. We do not think that Perraboo is housebroken so she is looking for a patient owner who can continue to work with her. She arrived at the shelter with some skin irritations and was seen by our shelter vet. She was given the all clear, but potential owners should be prepared to follow up with their own vet for a recheck in about two weeks (around 5/19). Perraboo has a lot of love to give and energy to share! If you are interested in meeting her, please let us know! 10/28/24 This rambunctious little pup is Perraboo! Perraboo arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now eagerly awaiting to find her new family to love! She is one smart pup and has already learned the command sit! She is looking for an owner who will have the time and energy to commit to her upbringing. She will need continued help with potty training, basic commands, positive socialization, and so much more. Puppies are a lot of work and a large responsibility but 100% worth it! Perraboo is in her teething stage so providing her with appropriate chews is important!
