Meet BJORN

Bjorn (A138613) is a 3-year-old Australian Kelpie mix who weighed 50.0 pounds on intake! 06/04/25 This handsome pup is Bjorn (aka Bo) Bo and his buddy Bear were surrendered to the shelter and are looking for their new homes! We are not requiring that they be adopted together, but if you are looking for a duo, please consider these two! Both these boys are very smart and will ring a bell when they need to go outside to potty. They were also stated to be kennel trained and know quite a few commands like: sit, lay, stay, up shake, and back! Both Bear and Bjorn might enjoy going to agility classes in the future! They do have a few naughty habits like jumping on counters and people. In the past, they have even jumped over fences so they should be supervised when in a fenced in yard. They were also known to get into the trash and dig when not supervised. Providing them with plenty of enrichment and outlets for their energy will help set them up for success! Bear was said to be a bit of an attention hog and is looking for a home without small children. However, he does do well with older children. They were said to be high-energy dogs, especially when meeting new people. They have limited experience around other animals, so please ensure you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new potential animal friends. Bo was said to take time to warm up to new dogs. If you are interested in meeting Bear, Bjorn, or the duo, please let us know!
