Meet ANGEL

Angel (A138577) is a 2-and-a-half-year-old siberian husky who weighed just over 40 lbs at intake!05/31/25 This sweet girl is Angel, who very briefly went by the name Poppy! Miss Angel was recently rehomed by her first owner to her most recent owner for a brief period of time. She was not a good fit with the other dogs in the home. Miss Angel grew up with a chihuahua, and she was struggling to adjust to having other large dogs in the home. Angel would hide behind her previous owner's legs when the other dogs approached and nip at them if they continued to get close. Slow and proper introductions are highly recommended if wishing to introduce Angel into a home with medium or large breed dogs. Her first owner described Angel as a very curious dog which would sometimes get her into trouble. Angel is an escape artist that cannot be contained by mere fences! Depending on the fence, she will either go over it or under it to get out. Siberian huskies are known to be high energy dogs, so be sure to keep Angel stimulated both mentally and physically. She has been known to dog outside, and stuffed toys are not safe with her around. However, she was saoid to do great loose inside the house and to be housebroken and to ride well in the car. Angel has been known to jump up on people, and she can be rough when playing. She has only been around children 7-years-old and older, so use caution if introducing her to younger kiddos, as her rough play style may not be well-received.
